PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Leading The Way For Future Leaders

Digital Imaging
Our range of end-to-end workflow solutions are developed, tested, executed and monitored by a highly-dedicated team of R&D specialists, as well as a trained force of consultants and system support engineers. Together, they innovate and implement suites of services that are customised to suit your business needs.

Whatever your requirements, challenges and goals, our solutions ensure that a quality standard is formulated and incorporated into your entire workflow. The process ranges from your business’ reception phase, and runs through your digital data flow, proofs and plate production and terminates with your prints phase. This standard ensures consistency across your printing process, and affords you the flexibility to utilise and capitalise on different calibration methods.

Our services can also be availed by amateur photographers and printers intent upon expanding and improving their repertoire of skills.

Consultancy Services
We complement our state-of-the-art solutions and technologies with a suite of world-class consultancy services to ensure that our customers achieve their goals. From colour-matching concerns to proof-matching issues, our team of highly-trained specialists will help you implement, evaluate and improve your entire imaging workflow.

With an in-depth knowledge of the intricacies of colour and our customers’ imaging and printing needs, our colour management services provide results that all businesses aim for. Our ability to accurately ‘measure’ colour and our continuous search for new technology developments have given rise to the best colour management services on the market.

All your proofing requirements will also be satisfied by our expert advice and guidance, as we provide a complete end-to-end workflow solution, from proof to press. For instance, our digital proofing systems include re-linearization, re-calibration, paper profiling, colour matching and proof verification services.

And your equipment calibration needs are easily met by our monitor, CTP and press calibration, which help achieve optimum gray balance and colour appearance-matching to industrial standards (FOGRA), including CTP dot gain curves. Our calibration also includes press profiling and analysis, and the checking and evaluation of equipment performance and conditions.

Training Programme
With rapid changes in technology redefining the business landscape, and the demands of globalisation effecting change in every industry, companies must maintain their competitive edge by developing and honing their greatest asset: their employees. Staff skill and productivity upgrading is very much key to remaining viable in the printing industry - so training employees on the latest trends, skills and knowhow is vital to any business seeking to maintain en edge.

To ensure optimum efficiency and productivity, we at TriStar deploy trainers certified in the fields of Ugra/ Fogra standardization, Adobe, Apple, HP, Canon, Microsoft, CGS, EFI and more to advance the knowledge of our customers’ imaging employees. By incorporating live workflows, simulations, standard processes and case studies from the printing environment, we ensure that employees are suitably geared up for the market’s latest solutions and technologies.

Divergent changes in technology have also given rise to differences in the requirements and workflows of different companies. As such, we offer customised training to cater for different business environments. This ensures that we offer courses that cover any requirement from all organisations in the printing industry.

WORKFLOW

We Go With The Workflow

From input to output, our automated solutions ensure that your imaging workflow is a simple, smooth and speedy process, producing results that meet or exceed your needs and expectations.

1) Digital Imaging Workflow
This is popular with commercial photo, fine arts, wedding and colour lab studios which utilise large format printers for photo-quality images.

2) Creative & Desktop Publishing Workflow
This is the province of advertising, design and publishing houses which produce high-quality photo images and artwork, churned out by large-format, high-speed printers in high volumes for visual proofs and contract proofs.

3) CtP Pre-press To Press Workflow
For CtP (computer-to-plate), pre-press colour-separated jobs requiring digital proofing in visual, ‘form’ or contract proof versions.

4) CtF Pre-press To Press Workflow
The CtF (computer-to-film) workflow utilises a digital proofing system rather than conventional mechanical proofing methods. Colour-separated jobs are sent directly for digital proofing for visual, ‘form’ or contract proof production.
